Groupon HG 101 Tandem Trade In

We have had a number of Grouponer's who have purchased our HG 101 package (which includes 2 x low tow Intro Discovery Sessions), that have requested to exchange the HG 101 package for a tandem flight. To accommodate anyone that really prefers the one-time thrill of a tandem, we are willing to exchange the 2 x Intro Sessions for 1 Tandem Flight + $50 HD video package.

The HG 101 offer was targeted for people that have some degree of interest in learning to fly and exploring the very attainable sport of Hang Gliding for themselves. The groupon offer, however, attracted quite a few buyers that happened to be more interested in a once-in-a-lifetime "bucket list" experience, which the tandem flight is better suited towards (as it is 1500ft versus 5ft).

In short:

• If you dream of flying, or could even remotely see yourself learning to hang glide, the 2 x Intro Sessions are by far the best choice and honestly will be a more rewarding and empowering experience for you.
• If you are 99% sure that you want to experience hang gliding only once to check it off your bucket list, then the tandem flight is a bigger / higher thrill ride.
• If scheduling flexibility is a challenge for you (Intro sessions are much more weather dependent), the tandem flight is more predictable to schedule

Here is how to make the trade:

1. If you wish to exchange your HG 101 for the Tandem, please just a note of it along with your Groupon number when you book your tandem flight slot on our flight calendar.
2. If you have already reserved an Intro Discovery Session, and wish to switch, please contact us so we can cancel your Intro session sign-up
3. If you have already partially redeemed (completed 1 of your Intro Sessions), and wish to now do the tandem, it is a $50+HST upgrade fee (and does not include the video)
