EZ430 Chronos Vario Watch

The simplest (and least expensive) vario you can find. A basic vario ideal for the new pilot. Simply will show your altitude and rate of climb while flying and beeps when you go up...what else does a student need! It will also show rate of climb (m/sec) and your max climb rate, max height and a flight timer.

It has three pitch tones for climbing – starts with a single low beep, then mid, then high, then double beeps low-med-high, then triple beeps low-med-hi.

This watch is meant as a development tool for developers to test Texas Instruments' components that are in this watch. We include a print-out of the vario software instructions with the watch but we simply load on the software and send it out to you. We didn't create the software, nor can we alter it, nor do we support the vario functions. It is a very simple device with not a lot of features on it...just enough for the novice pilot to get a feel for experiencing thermalling.
