Make your own T-Shirt

1. Grab an image you want to trace and place it somewhere accessible as a bitmap (.png)
2. Open Inkscape

3. Import your (.png) picture

4.Choose either link or embed and press OK

5. Open the Trace bitmap dialog

6. Choose Edge Detection, adjust the Threshold (this is based on picture...so play with it) and press Update to see how the trace will look like. When you're done, press OK and the trace will be applied (overlapped) to your initial bitmap.

7. Move trace which now resides on top of your bitmap by dragging it with your mouse.

8. Apply filters or jump to step...

9.Add text

10. Don't forget to flip (mirror) the image especially if you add text and place it on the document page outline.

11. Save your art work and print it on a ink jet printer. Use the 'special' paper from Avery for T-Shirts:
