Independence SK2 PG tow release with tow assist

The SK2 textile tow release is structurally identical to our proven SK1, however the SK2 features an integrated tow assist. This pre-accelerates the glider during towing, making the process safer (preventing stalls!) and generally achieving greater altitude.

The SK2 can only be attached to the main attachment point of the harness. Two ropes are fixed to the release mechanism and are attached to the speed system of the risers using Brummel hooks or small shackles. These ropes are adjustable in length to ensure optimal pre-acceleration of 20-25%, depending on the glider type.

If pre-acceleration is not desired, simply do not attach the Brummel hooks to the harness. Naturally, the SK2 is also LTF-approved!
