Step-towing Weighted-line - "The Snake"
MANDATORY for step-towing. Don't consider trying step-towing without it!
Custom-made for us! A heavy braided rope used during step-towing to keep the tow line below the hang glider while turning back towards the winch to help REDUCE the chance of the line snagging the inside wingtip. This is a major hazard of step-towing and should be the pilot's sole focus while turning back towards the winch.
The rope is 5m long with small spliced eyelets and weighs just over 5lbs. Attach between the end of your towline and before your towline drogue chute
